Castellon is the principle city of the region. While it has an outstanding shopping area with everything from small designer boutiques to the nationaly renowned El Corte Inglés where you can buy almost anything from an olive to a motorbike.

However, the city has much more to offer. The central park is a great place to spend some time, the plants and trees are varied and there are a number of unusual buildings. Plus the park hosts exhibitions during the year.

There is also the large covered market in the centre of the city. Here you will find a huge selection of fish, meat and vegetables. All right next to the central square and a host of coffee shops.
