Mirambel village is in the province of Teruel, situated at the foot of the San Cristóbel mountain and close to the small river or “rambla” of Cantavieja. It is at an altitude of 993 m above sea level and it has a population of only 144 people. It is about 55km west of Alcocebre, near to Cantavieja.

When you go into Mirambel you seem to travel back several centuries, with a medieval flavour that oozes from the stones of the castle, the houses and the streets. The present economy of Mirambel, based around the agricultural and tourist sector.
