Wind surfing:
Swimming: indoor pools open to the public are in Alcocebre, Alcala de Chivert, and Benicalo.
Scuba Scuba: diving on the ‘Isles de Columbretis’ can be arranged through Club Barracuda, based in Las Fuentes marina (http://www.barracudabuceo.com) Also, the dicve center in Benicalo (http://www.bluefindivecentre.com)

Golf

There are three local courses, in Borriol near Castellón, Club de Campo del Mediterráneo (http://www.ccmediterraneo.com), in Castellón Club de Golf Costa Azahar (Avda. Ferrandis Salvador, s/n 12100  Grao de Castellón ) and Nova Panoramica near Sant Jordi.

Two further courses are in planning or construction. Between Alcocebre and Torrenostra a new course is to be built and also one in Benicassim.

Walking

There are many walks for all capabilities in the Sierra de Irta, Desert of Palms and Cabanas Reserves. Also, guided walks take place throughout the summer, information is readily available at the tourist information office in Alcocebre.  Also there are paths throughout the local interior countryside.

Tennis

Las Fuentes tennis club is open to residents and visitors alike.

Horse Riding

In Cap y Corp you can go hourse riding with Hipica Masia “El Rull” (964 761 071)

Football

Two ‘La Liga’ clubs, Villa Real (http://www.villarrealcf.es) and Valencia (http://www.valenciacf.es) are close at hand where you can see some of the worlds best footballers.
Local senior and junior teams play regular games both in Las Fuentes and Alcola de Chevert.

Sea Fishing

Sea fishing from the beaches and rocks is very popular. The “Club de Pescas – La Dorada” is very active and has sections for all ages.

Bowls

Indoor bowls in pub Flamingo’s, next door to the Las Fuentes AIRMAR offices.

Cycling

The Sierra de Irta Nature Reserve, on the north side of Las Fuentes, offers miles of coastal and hill trails for both cycling and walking. There are several cycle rental locations in the villages.

Sailing

Valencia is where the next Americas Cup will be challenged (http://www.gva.es).  The Club de Vela Alcossebre (http://www.members.tripod.com/clubdevela/).

Beach Sports
